Course Description

SAT prep course for 10th and 11th-grade students.

The SAT measures many of the same core skills taught in school—reading, writing, and math—but it presents them in a different format, under much stricter conditions, and includes test-specific skills—like identifying trap answers, managing pacing, and navigating an adaptive digital format—that aren’t part of normal classroom instruction.

The course addresses these challenges and reflects the most current features of the new digital SAT exam.

Each class session includes ELA and Math, focusing on digital SAT test-taking strategies and techniques.

Students are advised to have the Desmos Calculator on their phones, since it is now a part of the BlueBook digital testing app used for the digital exams (a new, fully digital format that replaced paper exams in 2024).

The class will use practice exams provided by the College Board.
