About SchoolSharp+

About SchoolSharp+ and Our Saturday Enrichment Program

SchoolSharp+ is a Saturday enrichment program for students in Grades K–12, serving families in New York City for more than twenty years. The program was created to extend the standard school curriculum and give students the time, structure, and teaching quality needed to think deeply and learn independently.

Located on Manhattan’s Upper West Side at Union Theological Seminary, SchoolSharp+ offers in-person and live online classes in math, science, computer science, test preparation, languages, and humanities.

Why SchoolSharp+ Was Created

SchoolSharp+ was founded on a simple idea: meaningful academic growth requires more time, better structure, and expert teaching than weekday schedules typically allow.

Time to Explore

Challenging material without grade pressure

Space for Discussion

Problem-solving, inquiry, and deep thinking

Continuity

Multiple years of learning and growth

"SchoolSharp+ exists to give students that space—and to do it consistently."

Our Mission

SchoolSharp+ is a Saturday enrichment program designed to:

Students are encouraged to ask questions, test ideas, and engage deeply with material rather than memorize procedures.

This mission shapes every class, every curriculum decision, and every teacher selection.

A Long-Term Approach to Learning

Many students join SchoolSharp+ in the early elementary years and remain enrolled through middle school and beyond. This long-term approach allows skills to compound over time.
