Congratulations on completing the first half of the physics4kids curriculum. In the fall, we had a fun journey together. Through labs and demos, together we observed, proposed questions, carried on experiments, collected data and arrived our own conclusion. As planed, we studied Newtonian Mechanics which focuses on forces, kinematics of motion (velocity and acceleration), gravity, simple machines, momentum, mechanical energies, etc.
We will continue this journey to the second semester of physics which extends to multi scale objects and their behaviors.

Special Topics
This class shares the topics with Physics4kids-1 but we dive deeper into the concepts and use more variables and equations. Each class will include multiple teacher demo and 2~3 hand-on activities to help students to connect the concepts with applications. We will collect data and use equations to analyze them. Students will appreciate math as a tool and appreciate physics as the secret language to the world around us.
This class builds a foundation for high school physics and AP Physics 1 and 2.
