Course Description

SHSAT Prep for the 2026 Exam: The curriculum offers comprehensive coverage of topics and a structured approach to SHSAT preparation. You can join it now.

The course’s primary goal is to ensure that students have the academic knowledge and skills to succeed in the necessary areas. Students will also study and practice critical test-taking strategies proven to increase ththat have been eir scores.

The course also periodically provides (abbreviated) practice exams (5 in total) to assess your child’s performance and growth. The course also briefly introduces the schools available to get into, educates students on how the SHSAT scoring works, and personally customizes ideas on the best ways to improve their overall score. It begins on October 30th.

Instructor Background

Leo Liebeskind is a thirty-year-old teacher/tutor, born and raised in New York City. After graduating from Hunter High School and then Columbia University, he worked as a tutor, helping sixth graders prepare for the Hunter admissions test.

He soon found himself working with students of all ages, doing general academic work, and preparing students for the SHSAT, ISEE, and SAT/ACT tests. He has taught numerous SHSAT prep classes as a teacher for Ibid Prep and helped countless 8th graders gain admission to Stuyvesant, Bronx Science, HSMSE, and every other top school.

He has helped many high schoolers with their SAT/ACT tests and college admission essays and has seen students gain admission to elite colleges like the University of Michigan, Duke, Yale, and many more.
