Course Description

AP Calculus refers to one of two College Board courses, AP Calculus AB or AP Calculus BC, that offer college-level instruction in differential and integral calculus to high school students.

Calculus AB covers fundamental topics like:

  • Limits
  • Derivatives
  • Integrals

Calculus BC includes all AB topics plus more advanced concepts like:

  • Infinite series
  • Vector calculus

Both courses culminate in an AP exam that can grant college credit, depending on a student’s score.
